Aaron Diskin is an artist living & working in New York City. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College, where he studied photography with Stephen Shore & Larry Fink.

From the first moment he moved to NYC, he has been fascinated by the lush riot of steel & concrete that is the cityscape. He may be found constraining the textures and planes into frames, or just observing and recording the tumult on any given day.

These photographs were made on film using an 8X10 view camera. These cameras produce an 8inch by 10inch negative of silver halide film that is currently unmatched in 2020 for color saturation and tonal range. A photograph well made with an 8X10 camera has a distinctive yet indescribable quality.

Each image is available in an archival edition of 18 printed by the internationally recognized photographer Peter Mauney, who has printed exhibition quality prints for over 30 years.
